Based around guitarists/vocalists Carli Acosta and Kyle Fink, Palomino Blond shared a self-released demo EP early 2018 – the melodic guitar songs sweeping the sounds of dreamy shoegaze, punk-pop, and gothic rock. From then on, the band hit the ground running with fiery and frequent live shows, those of which led to southeast U.S. support slots with , , , , and , as well as festival plays (III Points, Gainesville’s The Fest, Sing Out Loud Festival, Mad Soul Fest, Pulp Fest, Bumble Fest). March 2020, BUFU Records (, , , ) released the band’s split EP with , with calling the bands “two of Miami’s brightest lights,” on BBC 6. Late August 2021 saw the release of double single “Dead Hand/Lo Siento,” tracked by the band’s own Peter Allen. Packing lush guitars one on side and heavy angst on the other, the double-single serves as a prelude to their upcoming debut album “ontheinside.”
