Wolf-Face – Punk That’s Howlingly Fun
In high school, Michael J. Wolf made some serious waves when Hollywood stole his life story for the 80s hit movie “Teen Wolf.” He’s been howling back ever since against the industry that twisted his tale!
______________
Blurring the lines between fan fiction and adaptive reality, The Eradicator, based on the Kids in the Hall sketch of the same name, places the aggressive ski-mask-wearing squash player in a restless environment confronting internal demons while combating external challengers as part of his quest to maintain dominance atop his local D Squash ladder. Live in concert, The Eradicator is in character, masked and motivated by dominance over his squash game. The absurdity of the performer crossed with the revolving cast of veteran musicians who have played in punk, metal, and hardcore bands for the better part of 20 years has left audiences amused, bewildered, but surprisingly apt to come back for more throughout the 7 year existence of the band, resulting in over 150 performances across 4 countries.

Shehehe’s music has always been rooted in heartfelt, autobiographical songs about a band and its life: the things that drive them crazy, the things they love, their awes, triumphs, and humor. Whether you see Shehehe live or hear them on a record, from that first note to the last you’ll be bouncing and singing along to the infectious, anthemic chants of youth and subsequent struggles with adulthood. Snarly call-and-response male/female punk vocals, occasional soft, sweet harmonies, and a scream or two paired with thumpy, pounding, aggressive, hypnotic rhythms inspire and cultivate a genuinely honest, nostalgic, yet unique rock & roll scene. A scene not just in their hometown of Athens, GA, but all over the plethora of cities these road-tested, and road-worn band members have been during their tenure, starting in 2011. Uncompromised, unabashed, uninhibited, a must-see for fans of any kind of music, Shehehe is always a great time!
